THE BRIEF

For the first time ever, a newspaper wanted to run a special 'double bill' weekend covermount promotion, with 2 classic films given away on 1 disc on Saturday, and then another 2 films on 1 disc on the Sunday.

DETAIL

The agency licensed all the film titles and designed special gatefold wallets. The Saturday covermount was 'To Die For' and 'The Eagle has landed', and the Sunday titles were 'Another Country' and 'On Golden Pond'.


The double bill promotion worked so well, that it was repeated in February with another 4 classic titles free on 2 discs over 1 weekend.
