The Newspaper wanted to run a Children's promotional DVD and asked the Agency to source content and a media partner.
DETAIL
The Agency approached the Mister Men and Little Miss, rights holders about licensing a special DVD. As the promotion was going to co-incide with the 35 year anniversary of the books, a full promotion grew out of this initial approach.
As well as a special DVD being created to kick off the promotion in paper. 10 books were specially designed and printed that were to be randomly inserted into the newspaper to be collected. A text mechanic was also included enabling readers to text in to collect the full set of books at a special price.
A competition for children to write a Mister or Little Miss Story also ran alongside the promotion.
