The Evening Standard wanted to offer their reader a series of digital downloads throughout August. The free download would be offered every Thursday and be open until midnight on Sunday. Evening Standard readers would be directed to a promotional website where through editorial support online and in the newspaper. The downloads were promoted with front page banners, pre-promoted in the Daily Mail and Metro and featured on Evening Standard vendor bills across London. It was agreed that the August digital campaign would focus on high quality audiobook downloads

The promotion ran through the agency's ME DOWNLOADED website www.medownloaded.com
The Agency were required to create a ‘white label’ website for the Evening Standard and source the audiobook content from a number of leading publishers.
The Agency digitized each audiobook into an MP3 format and hosted and facilitated the downloads
The Agency also created a digital shop for the Evening Standard so readers could also purchase a range of other titles in addition to downloading the free audiobook.
The promotion gave the Evening Standard an opportunity to capture valuable data on its readers and their preferences.
